Alice Corbo

March 3, 1932 – November 8, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Corbo, beloved wife, mother, and friend, who entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2024, at the age of 92. Alice was born on March 3, 1932, to Gasper Delgado and Adela Ortiz. She was a devoted homemaker and a pillar of strength for her family throughout her life.

Alice was a woman of deep faith, and it was her unwavering belief that guided her through every stage of life. She found comfort and strength in reading the Bible each evening before bed, a practice that reflected her deep connection to God and her commitment to living a life of kindness and compassion. Alice’s gentle spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was married to her loving husband, Bruno Corbo Sr., for 58 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, devotion, and mutual respect. Alice was a proud and dedicated mother to Emmanuel, Abby, Steven, and Bruno Jr.

Alice had a special love for animals, particularly her Shih Tzu’s. She adored them, especially her beloved Pebbles, whom she now rejoices with in heaven.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church in Copiague, NY, with cremation to follow.

Alice’s love, faith, and grace will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
