Susan "Sue" A. Carson

(Featherstone)

Age 65 of Coon Rapids, passed peacefully with her daughters at her side on August 15, 2018 at Abbott NW Hospital in Minneapolis.

Sue was born in Red Wing, Minnesota to Richard and Mary (Redding) Featherstone; the second of their three children. Her parents later remarried and she gained three siblings to her father's union to Beverly. Her family lived in Redwing for the early years and later moved to Coon Rapids where she attended school, graduating from Coon Rapids H.S. in 1971.

Her son, Adam was born in 1972, followed by daughters, Sarah, Jessica, Nicki, Savannah and Kelsie.

Sue worked for the State of Minnesota as a Human Services Technician for 33 years.

She enjoyed sci-fi movies, BINGO, crossword puzzles, sewing, crocheting, canning and collecting mushroom knick-knacks and pens. Sue had especially bad taste in beer and coffee!

She was preceded in death by her Son, Adam Featherstone; Father, Richard Featherstone; Mother, Mary Giesler; and Brother, Alan Featherstone.

Sue is survived by her Daughters, Sarah (Jason) Bistodeau, Jessica (Mark) Young, Nicki Carson (Josh Newton), Savannah (Anthony) Fonseca and Kelsie (Royce) Rivera; 14 Grandchildren; Siblings, Dean (Diane) Featherstone, Brenda (Jim) Kurys, Bruce (Cindy) Hoefs, Bonnie (Tim) Endicott; Sister-in-law, Nancy Featherstone; Step-mother, Beverly Wellhausen; Step-father, Joseph Giesler; many Loving Relatives and Friends.
