Leroy Lyons III

Leroy was born on February 25th, 1962 to Leroy and Opal Lee Lyons in Gary, IN. After Leroy graduated from Horace Mann high school in 1980, Leroy located to Minneapolis/St. Paul to begin his life in Minnesota.

Leroy was predeceased by his parents; stepmother, Josephine Lyons; grandparents; sister, Bridgette Lyons, Joseph Lyons; nephew, Daryl “Spud” Lyons; and stepbrother, Michael Marks.

Leroy is survived by his children, Quintell Williams (Hayfield, MN), Leroy Lyons IV (Minneapolis, MN), Laurence Lyons (St. Paul, MN), Jeremy Lyons (Maplewood, MN) daughter, Sabrina (Dez) Lyons (St. Paul, MN); stepchildren, Elizabeth (Lwan) Moe-Enzenauer (Blaine, MN), Donald (Jessica) Enzenauer (North Branch, MN), Selena Trice (St. Paul, MN); special friend for many years Brenda Enzenauer (Blaine, MN); a total of 29 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers, Calvin Lyons (Gary, IN), Timothy Lyons (Gary, IN); sisters, Brenda “Gail” Lyons (Gary, IN), Shauna Lyons (Gary, IN); stepsister, Diane Marks; stepbrother, Jim Marks (Gary, IN); Godmother, Sallie Frelix (St. Paul, MN) and a host of family and friends.

Leroy worked at Giertsen Fire and Water Restoration, Slumberland Furniture, K-mart and Walmart until he retired in 2004 due to an illness. Leroy enjoyed roller skating, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be held at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 732 Central Ave W, St. Paul, MN on February 10th,2024 at 10:00 AM Gathering and 11:00 AM Service.
