James was born in Drayton, ND on January 23, 1945 to Walter Marciniak and Susan Meshefski. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Walter and Susan; mother-in-law, Mary Alice Dye; and brothers, Terry and Robert.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Peggy Lee (Presley); children, Michael (Sandy) Marciniak, Rick (Stacia) Marciniak; grandchildren, Angela (Christopher), Justine (Joshua), Michael, Christopher, Payton, Reese, Aaron, Isaac, Alicia and Jimmy; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Jayde, Lillean and Aiden, Elias and Dylan, and Colten, Natalie, Phoenix, and Freya; sister, Susan Lynette; special friend, Laura Shook; and many other family members and friends.
Jim grew up in Elk River, MN, on a dairy farm, and became a 4 year Navy Veteran. He and Peggy married in 1966 and made their home in Andover, MN. He is the inventor and creator of "Sensory Integration" which was making therapeutic equipment for handicapped children. Jim also started his company called "SI Industries". Jim loved life and had many great years! He loved his family and friends, enjoyed entertaining and floating on the Rum River on his pontoon.
He loved his collector vehicles and his airplane hobby, and he spent his winters in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. Jim was a prankster with a sense of humor, who loved to make people laugh. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. Jim will be remembered as a funny, kind, and caring man, who was optomistic, strong, and determined.
