Tom was born in Missoula, Montana, on May 31, 1963. He was raised in Champlin and Anoka, and graduated from Anoka High School. Tom enjoyed sports - especially the Minnesota Twins, Gophers, and Vikings. He enjoyed his younger years playing baseball. You could always find him in the backyard with a ball and bat in his hands, organizing neighborhood baseball games even in the street. He loved the weather, especially snowy winters. If you needed a weather report, you just needed to ask Tommy. He enjoyed everything to do with Christmas, from the snow and the decorations to looking at Christmas lights and searching for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Tom loved to dance and was always the first one out on the dance floor at any event. His favorite song "Party Like a Rockstar" always got him moving. He loved bowling, going to Music Makers, and Pals groups for social outings. He spent his days at Rise in Anoka, where he enjoyed the daily exercises, games and group activities, even an occasional baseball game. He also looked forward to his weekly movie outings with Dad. It was always a good time.
Tommy was a follower of Jesus - he loved going to church and enjoyed singing along with the worship team. He especially loved his family and looked forward to his yearly birthday celebrations with them. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
