Frederick J. Timm, age 83 of Coon Rapids passed away Jan. 25th. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister Mary Ann. He is survived by his wife Mary Timm; a son Rudolph W. (Missy) Timm; stepchildren: Sarah (Randy) Hill, Richard Baldwin, Dar Walker, and Shirley Dantin (Randy) Vice along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two siblings: Frani Thornton and Butch (Ellen) Timm and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Fred worked many years in maintenance for Riverplace Counseling Center, and was a school bus para for First Student where he adored working with the children. He was an active member of Church of St. Timothy where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus always willing to help where needed. Fred was the first diagnosed case of Polio in Minnesota in 1953. He loved being outside and never met a stranger, or at least with Fred, they were not strangers for very long with his outgoing personality. To know him was to love him and we will all miss him dearly. Memorial mass to be held 11 AM Saturday Feb. 11th at the Church of St Timothy 707 89th Ave NE, Blaine with visitation one hour prior beginning at 10 AM.
