Fairis Dean Ballard

Fairis Dean Ballard, 89, of Conway passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Fairis was born on June 15, 1933 in Bradford, Arkansas, the son of Jeffrey and Bessie (Riley) Ballard.He served our country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1978, before retiring at the rank of Tech Sergeant. He married his wife Linda Joyce Quattlebaum Ballard on June 21, 1963, sharing 59+ years of marriage. He enjoyed reading and surfing the internet on his computer.

Fairis leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Linda Ballard of Conway, Arkansas, daughter Carol Deason of Robertsville, Missouri, son Richard Ballard of Independence, Kentucky, six grandchildren Jonathon and Joshua Deason, Dean, Logan, Carson and Jenna Ballard and 7 great grandchildren, as well as his sister Jeanne. He will also be missed by Tiny dog, daddy's little man. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Kittie Conley, Wilma Mason, and Pat Free, and his grandson Christopher Deason.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Griffin Leggett Conway from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, with services beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 12:00 pm in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Air Force Honors.
