Daniel Dewitt, was born January 29, 1988 in Conway, Arkansas and passed away on November 18, 2020. He was raised in Conway and was a graduate of Conway High School class of 2006. After high school he joined the Army and was stationed in Bamberg Germany. He completed a tour in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a Combat Engineer and Airborne Engineer SSG. He received many awards and achievements during his military service and had top military clearance. After eleven years of service he retired and opened his own company J-Dog Junk Hauling, he was working on a Bachelor degree in criminal defense at the time of his passing and had plans of applying for the FBI.
After he closed his hauling business he was employed by USCCA/Delta Defense. He loved being active in the community helping the United Way with school drives, Toys for tots and collecting school supplies with Walmart. He loved to donate his time to whom ever he could. His top priority was being a loving father to his children. They were his world and he loved spending every minute he could with them.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Gerald Dewitt, grandparents Al and Dorothy Skinner and Wayne DeWitt, and great grand parents Bill and Reba Mason and Addie Todd and his aunt Lisa Wimberly and uncles Al Skinner Jr. and Wayne Edward Dewitt.
He is survived by his precious children, Beau and Ellie DeWitt, mother, Christie Dewitt, his sister Daphne Skinner, grandmother, Bernice Welch and uncles Bruce Skinner and Harold and Terry DeWitt; aunts Rhonda (Cary) Kuykendall and Melisa Marshall. Other survivors include his cousins, Michael, Ziah and Daria Skinner, Luke and Skeet Wimberly, Ridge Davis and Jim, Getulio and Misty DeWitt. His nephew Marcuz, as well as a special friend Amber, and many cousins, other aunts and uncles and friends.
He was a huge Cheese Head and he loved the Green Bay Packers. Visitation will be Wednesday December 2, 2020 from 6-8 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
