Stephen Paul Sipes

Funeral services for Stephen Paul Sipes will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Charles Teel officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Stephen was born December 17, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas to Jean and Wilma Chunn and entered into rest on April 23, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. Stephen had a love for baseball. He helped establish a baseball program in Lexington, Texas and was a little league coach and board member. He participated in numerous cook-offs. Stephen has left behind to cherish his many fond memories; wife, Melanie Sipes of Conroe, TX; daughter, Michelle Sipes of Jackson, MS; sons, Justin Sipes of Houston, TX and William Sipes of Conroe, TX; mother, Wilma Lehman of Conroe, TX; sister, Dena Sipes of Odessa, TX; brother, Rick Sipes and wife Lillian of Sargent, TX; grandchildren, Janae Sipes and Jaden Sipes both of Houston, Tx. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Doug Jatzlau, Danny Brown, Rixie Sipes, Nelson Minyard, Bruce Kimmell and Jim Cheatham.
