Sara Dannette Davis Boatright, born on February 8,1976 passed away on October 20,2020, at the age of 44. Sara was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Danny and Sheila. She grew up in rural Wann, Oklahoma, with her mother, father and two brothers, where she enjoyed spending her time riding horses; seeing her cousins and many friends; being a part of her grandparents’ cafe; and creating countless memories. Even at such a young age, Sara was admired for her caring, loving heart as she cared for her younger brother.
She graduated from Oklahoma Union High School in 1994, where she was a cheerleader, basketball player and involved in FFA throughout the years. She met the love of her life, Dusty, in Parson KS, while she was attending Labette Community College. Sara carried on enjoying spending time with her many friends, being an extremely hard worker throughout school and her job. She became a mother in April of 1996 to Kaitlyn. She graduated from college in 1999, with a Bachelor of Arts in American Humanics from Missouri Valley College. Sara and Dusty made their home in Kansas City, Mo. She then gave birth to her daughter Kellis in September of 2000. Sara then started her career at Sunflower House, where she was a child abuse prevention advocate. She changed many lives loving and caring for families and children in need. She lived to change people’s lives every moment. Sara enjoyed being at the lake on the boat with her family and friends, having her toes in the sand, and being at any beach. Sara was loved by many people. She touched the hearts of even more. She was always the life of the party; whether that be her unforgettable dance moves or making words up to her favorite songs. She was outgoing, supportive, strong willed, determined, confident, and loving. She always opened her arms to anyone that needed her advice. She was a listening ear always. Sara was so many peoples' homes and rock. She managed to take care, listen, love and most importantly put everyone in check. She loved with her whole heart. Everyone loved how organized, smart, and thrifty she was. There was never a point she wasn’t on some kind of adventure, having her friends or family over. Sara and Dusty decided to move to Texas, as Dusty had received a job offer. She was beyond excited to move to warm weather and finally have the house of her dreams. She loved her oasis in the backyard with her pool, large kitchen as she loved cooking for everyone. Sara will always be remembered by her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, ability to light up a room, the most gorgeous person in the room, and her huge and loving heart, but most importantly her want and drive to help and love everyone she could no matter the cost. We love you so much it hurts.
