Robert Lindner passed away on Saturday, September 23, at the age of 92. He is survived by Claire, his wife of 53 years. He leaves behind 5 children, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his niece, Roberta.
Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1931, the youngest in a family of 4. As a boy he would go to work with his Father where he learned the trade that would lead him to establish successful service companies both in New York and Texas.
Bob attended NYU and later met Claire in 1967. They married in 1969 and ran the businesses together until Bob’s retirement in 1987.
They fell in love with The Woodlands on their first visit and moved here in 1977. Bob was an avid tennis player and continued playing until the age of 88. Bob and Claire loved to play bridge but the thing that Bob loved most was spending time with and taking care of the young children in the family.
Funeral services will be held September 30, 2023 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Hall (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303) with visitation held one hour prior to service.
