Michael was a loving father and husband. Friends and family knew him as a man of impeccable integrity and honor. He was a hard working man who loved God and his family. His family will always remember his laughter and cherish his support. Through every challenge, his joy stayed constant. His declaration of “Michael Be Da Man” will always make us smile as we remember him as the man we aspire to be.

Preceded in death by George Helton (Father), Theresa Helton (Mother), and Tina Rooney (Daughter In Law), he is survived by Lynda Rooney (Wife), Brad Rooney (Son), Brian Rooney (Son), Melissa Boyd (Daughter), Carla Rooney (Daughter In Law), Kentrel Boyd (Son In Law), Matt Rooney (Grandson), River Rooney (Grandson), Megan Rooney (Granddaughter), Nathan Rooney (Grandson), Brandon Rooney (Grandson), Cory Bryant (Grandson), Aaron Bryant (Grandson), Christian Bryant (Grandson), Ricky Mullis (Grandson), Jaron Mullis (Grandson), Eric Migoya (Grandson), Tyler Ponce (Grandson).

Funeral service for Michael William Rooney will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 10:00am with visitation starting at 9:00am prior to service. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Garden Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
