Mary Pulpan

Mary was born on July 14, 1930 in Brenham, Texas to Bruno and Veronica Ogrodowicz.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Pulpan; daughter, Cheryl Zalesak, and son, Alan Pulpan. Mary is survived by her brother Edmund Ogrodowicz; her daughter, Doris Merrel and husband Steve; Grandchildren Dawn Harmon and husband Scott; David “Duke” Pulpan and wife Nancy; and Stacye Tullos and husband Michael; Greatgrandchildren Cole Pulpan and wife Hailye; and Grace Tullos.

Mary was born and raised in Brenham, Texas where she attended Catholic School. After marrying Albert they moved to Houston, TX where they raised their three children. In 1988 Mary and Albert, both retired, moved to Waller, TX. After Albert’s death in 1995 she continued to live in Waller until her son Alan passed away. She then moved to Willis, TX to live with Doris and Steve until her passing. Mary will always be remembered for her BBQ, home cooking, and gardening. She was known to have a green thumb. Whatever she planted, it grew.
