Mark married his wife Michelle in 1993, and they were happily married for almost 30 years. Michelle meant the world to Mark, and he was always so proud of their life together. They have two beautiful children, Jake and Sydney, and Mark’s beloved dog, Koda.
Mark loved his family fiercely. He enjoyed taking his daughter out on special dates, and he was filled with pride when she graduated from Texas A&M last year. Mark loved the outdoors and spread that joy to his family. He loved hunting and fishing with his son, walking Koda through the woods, and spending time at the beach in South Padre with Michelle. He always felt better being in nature and spent as much time there as he could.
Mark was beloved by his friends and would do anything for them. He was always ready to help with a level of determination and intensity that proved how much he cared. He loved to joke and poke fun, but he was also serious and steadfast as a husband, father, and friend. Mark was a dog-lover, but he had a special place in his heart for golden retrievers. Their sweet, loyal personalities filled him with joy.
Mark spent his early career developing computers at Gateway and Best Buy. In the early 2000s, he moved to San Antonio to work for AT&T and continued his career there for almost 20 years. He was an enthusiastic worker and made many friends along the way.
Mark is survived by his wife Michelle, his son Jake and his daughter Sydney. His parents, Darwin and Clarice Rosener, his brother Scot and family, and his close cousin Bill, and his lifelong best friend, Chris Wetzel.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Arbor Day Foundation in Mark's memory.
