Larry Dean Hurst

Larry Dean Hurst passed away at the age of 50 on December 16, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. He was born November 25, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Virgil Hurst and Wilma Heaton. Larry loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Fishing and being on the water was a favorite past time. He enjoyed good music, playing his guitar and singing songs. His wife Margie and children were the light of his life. Larry had a big heart and possessed a tremendous amount of patience. He had a wide circle of friends, most of whom were lifelong friends. A “great friend” is how everyone describes him. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Margie Hurst; daughter, Kimberly Rice; father, Virgil G. Hurst and grandparents, Jessie Hurst; Shelby and Cora Hurst Mills, Ernest NeSmith, Henry and Monette Lee. He is survived by daughters, Kristen Hurst of Willis, Texas and Shannon Rice of Kerrville, Texas; son, Bradley Hurst of Kerrville, Texas; mother, Wilma Heaton of Willis, Texas and Bobbie Hurst of Park Hill, Oklahoma; sisters, Lissa Poole and husband Steve of Folsom, California, Sharon McCauley and husband Thomas of Navasota, Texas and Jeannie Kellar of Park Hill, Oklahoma; brothers, Les Hurst and wife Brenda of Willis, Texas, Virgil Hurst and wife Allison of Montgomery, Texas and Lane Hurst and wife Sharese of Bedias, Texas and nine grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 3:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home with Henry Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home.
