Larry Bernard Bennett

Larry Bernard Bennett was born May 9, 1950 in Plainwell, Michigan and passed away May 28, 2015 in The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 65. Larry was a family man who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. He served his country in the US Army from Dec. 5, 1968 till Dec. 4, 1974. He was also well known as a truck driver and pipe fitter. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Parsons Bennett Jr. and Madeline Esther Boze Bennett. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Mary Bennett of Conroe, Texas; children: Larry Bernard Negus and wife Kim of Alaska, Chad Michael Bennett and wife Jennifer of Oakridge, Texas, Mindy Ann Woodard and husband Kenneth of Willis, Texas, Misty Dawn Williams and husband Rickey of Willis, Texas and Crystal Kenne Smith and husband Jay also of Willis, Texas; step parents, Audrey and Warren McKinstry of Michigan; sister, Ronda Woundstra of Indiana; half sister, Connie Brewster and husband Paul of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Ty Swift and wife Annie of Indiana; half brothers, Ed Bennett and Darrell Bennett of Michigan; grandchildren: Kimber Negus, Brian Negus, Shelby Dawn Glazier, Jodie Bennett, Dylan Bennett, Rickey Williams Jr., Cole Woodard, Kaitlin Williams, Parker Woodard, Carter Smith, Makena Woodard and Brady Smith; and two great grandchildren, Mary Jane Negus and Jerry Negus. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in the Cashner Colonial Chapel at 3pm with Pastor Juan Martinez.
