John (Jack) Joseph Moriarty passed away on January 24th, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. He was 71 years old.
William and Jeanne Moriarty welcomed Jack into the world on April 11, 1947. He attended a Catholic school as a child and went on to Mankato State University in Minnesota. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in sociology and a minor in history in 1969. He joined the Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, among other places, for about a year and a half.
Jack enjoyed people and had a career in sales. He loved Blue Bell ice cream, especially while watching the Astros playing on his big screen TV. He is survived by his children, Shawn Michael Moriarty, and Jessica Lynn Citso. Jack is also survived by his two brothers, Michael Moriarty and family of Chicago, Illinois, and Richard Moriarty and family of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jack enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren: Mindy and Molly Moriarty, and Caden, Cullen, and Coraline Citso.
He will be buried in St. Louis, Missouri near his parents.
