Faye was born on March 1, 1934 to James and Helen Jackson in Rosebud, Texas and was one of eleven children. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and afterward was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone in Fort Worth, Texas, where she met Bill, the love of her life. Faye and Bill married on May 11, 1957 at the home of her brother, James. Faye earned her Registered Nurse’s license through Kilgore College and served as a nurse for many years. After retiring in 1996, she and Bill moved to their beautiful lakehouse on Lake Conroe. Faye loved her retirement years - working in the flower beds, spending time with her family and grandkids, playing bingo, going on gambling trips. She especially loved family vacations.
Waiting to greet her were her son, Scott Embry Wagner; parents, James and Helen; her twin, Maye Carr; sister, Ozell McEwen; and brothers, James, Lester, David, Helmer and Billy. Those left to mourn her passing and celebrate the love she brought to life are her husband of fifty-five years, Bill; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Laurie Wagner; daughter, Loc Wagner; five grandchildren, Christine and Lucas Wagner; Thanh, Tai and Thuy Bercher; brothers, Edward and Wayne Jackson; and sisters, Mary Lovell and Hazel Lindquist and her husband, Don; and so many other family members and friends who cherished her.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Association would be greatly appreciated. You are invited to view our web page at www.cashnerconroe.com
