Frances Jane Edwards

Jane McLendon Edwards, 74, of Conroe was born August 17, 1943 in Alvin, Texas, the daughter of the late Mary Alice (Northen) and William Bryan McLendon. Jane passed away March 25, 2018 at her residence. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from the Montgomery County Engineers office. Jane enjoyed her life with her family in addition to working in her yard, cooking for her family and living life to the fullest. Jane is survived by sons, Bryan Bozarth and Mel Edwards of Conroe, Zack Edwards of Liverpool and Ian Maidment of the UK; daughters, Jana Lea and Belinda Hackleman, both of Conroe and Maricela Fairchild of Kerrville; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike McLendon of Angleton and Allan McLendon of The Woodlands. In addition to her parents, Ms. Edwards was preceded in death by her husbands', Charles Edward Bozarth and Billy Gene Edwards, daughter Judy Smitherman; grandson Joshua Bozarth and brother, Larry McLendon. Visitation will be held, Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Bozarth, Zack Edwards, Jarrad Seibert, Devin Fitch, Blake Bozarth, and Taylor Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike McLendon, Allan McLendon and Jake Bozarth.
