David Brennan went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday October 23, 2019. David was born in San Antonio, TX on July 30, 1962. A 48-year resident of Conroe, he attended Conroe High School class of 1981, participating in football and rodeo. He went on to play football for Kilgore Junior College and later attended Sam Houston State University. David met Kellie Lynn McClain and began their 35-year marriage together, raising two daughters, Ashley and Jessica.
David was a master electrician who started his career in the family business, Brennan Electric, alongside his father Pat Brennan. From there, he went on to specialize his craft in the area of process and automation controls. He was currently employed at Evoqua Water Technologies where he worked for 14 years. He was a skilled welder, BBQ pitmaster and “BT” (Brennan Taco) maker, but most importantly, he was Kellie’s expert “craftsman”.
David’s love for his family was unwavering. As a devoted husband, father, Pops, son, brother and friend, his dry sense of humor was one of his best and most endearing qualities.
Deer season was definitely his favorite time of year. He loved getting his big brother Pat’s ranch ready for the family to have a great hunt. He found his peace in the woods and you could find him in his custom green Suzuki Samurai “Pickle” taking care of the stands and feeders.
David is survived by his wife Kellie Brennan, daughter Ashley Borthwick and husband Brian Borthwick; Daughter Jessica Graham and husband Ryan Graham; grandchildren Hudson, Brennan, Jack, and Taylor; father and mother Pat and Tommie Brennan; his brothers Pat, Bobby, and Jacob; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and visitors at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303, on Sunday October 27 for visitation 5-7pm, and funeral service Monday October 28 at 10am. Interment will follow service at Garden Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for Texas Lions Camp at https://www.lionscamp.com/.
