Charles Jack Stacy was born August 12, 1934 in Algiers, Louisiana and passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 79. Jack retired from the Federal Aviation Agency as an Air Traffic Controller. Besides his family, Jack’s first love was the sport of bowling. He was an accomplished bowler with a perfect “300” game to his credit. In 1971 Jack was elected to the Montgomery County Bowling Association where he served as it’s Executive Director for 34 years until retiring in 2005. Jack was also inducted into the Montgomery County Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2003. During his stewardship the association grew from 126 members to a high of 2200 members. Jack was a long standing volunteer at the Conroe Surgery Center as well as a continuing blood donor of the Blood Center at Conroe. He also was a longtime member of the Longmire Road Church of Christ. Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol R. Stacy, by his daughter, Michele Stacy Bentley, by his two sons; Michael Stacy and Bart Stacy, by his brother Guy F. Stacy, one son in law, two daughters in law, and several grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Charles M. and Elonia LeBlanc Stacy, and by his two sisters; Arden Stacy Weckesser and Barbara T. Stacy. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 12:30pm with John Helbig as minister. Entombment will follow in the Garden Park Mausoleum.
