Carol Ann Price, age 79, passed away on August 30, 2021. She was born September 8, 1941 in Millersburg, Ohio. She married Christian (Chris) Price on February 23, 1980 and spent the next 41 years building a life together.
Anyone close to Carol and Chris knew they had what seemed like more than their “fair share” of struggles. But they persevered through the struggles, and built a beautiful life together, based on a beautiful recipe of love, endurance, humility and grit. They were best “buddies” as Chris likes to put it. They were truly an inspiration to all who knew them, and all who had witnessed their love for one another.
Carol was raised in a foster home with her sister, Gloria Moses. Her brother Harold Lint (deceased) was placed in different home, and they were never reunited. Carol and Gloria also had three known half-sisters growing up - Barbara Burris, Shirley Starnes and Mary Ellen Petroff (deceased).
After Carol’s mother, Doris Ralston Lint, passed away, Carol had an overwhelming desire to find her father. In the late 1970’s, after 30+ years apart, Carol and Gloria were reunited with their father, Atlee Lint (deceased). Conversations with her father unveiled other half siblings. Carol started a search for the remaining family members. She found two maternal siblings, Karen S. Johnson and Sandra Castle (deceased) and two paternal siblings, James Lint (deceased) and Shirley Robinson. She continued to keep in touch with each one of them.
Carol was a loving, feisty wife to Chris Price. She was a proud mother of 3 children- Brian Grosjean (deceased), Jeff Grosjean (deceased) and Angela Reamy. Carol adored her 6 grandchildren – Chelsea Loring, Paige Murphey, Adam Grosjean, Nicholas Hill, Jeff Reamy and Kyle Reamy. Last, but definitely not least she was a Gigi who loved spoiling and spending time with her great grandson, Bowen Loring.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday September 4, 2021. Viewing and visitation is from 1pm to 2pm, followed by a Memorial Service. Carol had chosen cremation, so there will be no graveside service.. Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303.
