Bobbie Jean Sapp Passed away on February 5, 2018 after a brief illness. She was blessed to live over 88 years. Bobbie Jean Coffman was born on April 30, 1929 in El Dorado, Texas and grew up in the Humble Oil camp. She attended Conroe High School where she met her husband Douglas Sapp. Bobbie and Doug lived in Montgomery county all of their wonderful years together. They were blessed with a special needs son, Gary, around whom their lives would revolve. Bobbie poured her heart into making Gary’s life as wonderful as she could dream. She was involved with Special Olympics and many other activities that would fill Gary’s life with fulfillment and love. Taking care of Doug, Gary and her extended family of many siblings, nieces and nephews brought her so much joy. Creative, funny and full of life, Bobbie was an accomplished seamstress and cook who loved to laugh, converse and open her home to others. ‘Stranger’ was not in her vocabulary. She was a decade long member of Mims Baptist Church and worked for many years as a teacher’s aid at Runyan Elementary School. Bobbie and Doug loved to RV and made many great friends traveling around the country with Gary at their side. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who take solace in her heavenly reunion with the family she cherished. We all know the coffee’s on and the food is ready when our time comes to join them. Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her parents Dovie and Jake Coffman; siblings Montague Coffman, Hazel Owen, Doris Berkley, Othell Coffman, Elmer Coffman and Geraldine Sapp; her husband Doug and son Gary. She is survived by her sister Franceil Reagan and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her friends of Pinecrest subdivision, staff and residents of Carriage Inn, Dr. Kyle Scarborough and staff, Dr. George Boyle and staff, the staff and physicians of Conroe Regional Medical Center, and dear friend Martha Bell for ministering to her needs during her later years and illness.
