Barbara Nell Wiegand, 77 of Willis, was born July 18, 1940 in Emory, Texas to Aud Marvin and Lillie Mae Holland and was called home to Heaven on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Barbara was herself, without pretense. People who recognized that value seemed always to enjoy her presence. Her laugh was infectious, and when she was happy her voice sang what was in her heart. Barbara loved her loved ones deeply and fiercely defended them after others would not. She endured a lifetime of painful surgical operations, illnesses, and difficult recoveries - yet she still raised four children, maintained a home for her family, and worked outside her home to add as she could. Barbara was always the caregiver, relinquishing that role only when she herself needed care. Barbara was certain, without a trace of doubt, that Jesus went to the Cross such that she could have Life eternally. She opened her heart to accept that promise from Jesus many years ago, and KNEW that she would go to Him in Heaven when He called her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pollyanna Bearden and son, Glen Douglas Morse. Barbara is survived by her loving husband Joe, sons, Jim Morse and Eddie Morse, bonus son Jay, ten grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cashner Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Morse, Dusty Morse, Cory Morse, Dylan Morse, Ricky Bearden and Brandon Bearden. To send an online condolence for the family please visit www.cashnerconroe.com.
