Anne Kathleen Shepherd

Anne Kathleen (Katy) Shepherd of Spring Branch, Texas passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Memorial Hermann Hospital, The Woodlands. She was born March 15, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Jack and Anne Shepherd. She grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Cypress Creek High School and Stephen F. Austin University. She was formerly married to Robert Lakoski and had two children, Jack and Rosemary. Katy was a horticulturist, landscape designer, account manager and employee of LMC Landscape Management Company at the time of her death. Katy was a precious free spirit, a lover of nature, loved playing softball and a world class mother. Her effervescent personality and her laughter could light up the world! She is survived by her two grown children, Jack and Rosemary, her dad, Jack Shepherd and stepmother, Susie; sister, Amy Guthrie and step sister, Carla McCabe; her beloved first cousins and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Rd in Conroe.
