Michele Dawn Hedrick

Michele Dawn Hedrick, age 41, of Claremont, NC went home to be with her heavenly father, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born into this life on August 10, 1971, she was the daughter of Ronald Ernest Hedrick and Rhonda Gail Miller.

Michele was a special needs child that was very special in many ways. She graduated from Conover School and was part of Life Skills of Catawba County.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John E. Hedrick.

Survivors include her father, Ronald Ernest Hedrick of the home; mother, Rhonda Gail Miller; paternal grandmother, Loretta Hedrick of the home; sister, Angela Gail Hedrick of the home; uncle, Johnny Mack Hedrick of Claremont.

The funeral will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont with Rev. Eric Hollar officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm at the church.

The family would like to thank very special friends and caretakers, Shelby James and Darlene Woodruff and all the staff of Conover School and Life Skills and all of her friends. Throughout her life, she brought much joy to many and will be greatly missed. She shared a very special bond with her sister, Angela Gail Hedrick.
