Jeannie Raymonde Lambert Garrett, age, of 74, of Claremont, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Jeannie was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on Tuesday, March 21, 1950 to the late Garland “John” W. Lambert and M. Louise Gillenwater Lambert.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, James Garrett; and daughter, Jennifer Marie Asbury.
Jeannie graduated from Tazewell High School in 1968. She worked various jobs but her favorite job was a being a professional truck driver. She enjoyed driving and seeing the country.
Those left to cherish Jeannie’s memory are her daughter, Claudia J. Asbury Lee of Stem, NC; sister, Catherine L. Parker of Eufaula, AL; and grandsons, Aron M. Beck of Roxboro, NC, Roger D. Harris Jr., of Hickory, NC; granddaughter, Devon McLaughlin (Terrell) of Hickory, NC; and great grandchildren, Jaymee R. Downey, Jayce R. Downey, Gionni L. McLaughlin and Kyrie T. McLaughlin.
This special lady will be greatly missed.
