Jacob Ray Patterson

Jacob Ray Patterson, 39, of Connersville died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Jacob was born to Jack Ray and Pamela Baldwin Patterson on February 26, 1981. Jacob attended Connersville High School. He also had attended Garrison Creek Christian Church with his family. Jacob was an avid ginseng hunter, fisherman, and all around outdoorsman. He loved helping others and spending time with his family. Jacob will be remembered as a loving daddy, son, brother, friend, and someone who had an incredibly big heart. In addition to his mother, Jacob is survived by his daughters: Tiffany Patterson and Tyla Patterson; son: Tyler Patterson; sisters: Sheila R. Groce and her husband Jacob, Jenny S. Hannefey and her husband Travis; brother: Jason Patterson; expected granddaughter Amara. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jacob was preceded in death by his father Jack Ray Patterson who died on August 16 2019; his paternal and maternal grandparents. A graveside service will be held at Laurel North Cemetery, Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Fluty of Garrison Creek Baptist Church officiating. Friends may visit at the cemetery on Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Donor’s choice in honor of Jacob.
