Deborah F. Hunter, 59, of Connersville, died Thursday, March 8, 2011, at her residence. On August 9, 1952, Debbie was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to Kingsley Sr. and Beulah Robinette. Debbie was married to Dennis “Ray” Hunter on August 16, 1969. She had been employed at Everton Elementary School as a lunch aide and had previously worked at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home and Sperry Garment in Brookville. She attended Baptist Temple Church and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, fishing and especially being with her family. Debbie survived by her husband; three children and their spouses: Stephen W. and Amy Reisinger-Hunter, of Connersville; Kimi and Chad Dick, of Cambridge City; Robin L. and Damon James, of Connersville; two grandchildren: Stephanie L. Harlan and her husband, Jonathan; Corey R. Hunter; great-grandchildren: Alexis Hunter and McKenzie Harlan, all of Connersville; three siblings: Jeff Robinette, of New Hampshire; Donna Day and her husband, Johnny, of Pikeville, Kentucky; Danny Robinette and his wife, Julie, of Daytona, Florida; mother-in-law: Ollie “Doodle” Hunter, of Connersville, several nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law: William “Bill” Hunter. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Pastor John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service where memorial contributions may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration for Research on Pick’s Disease.
