Born in Concord, he was the son of Charles Philip and Mary Jane (Spain) Baldi.
He worked for the City of Concord as a superintendent of the Parks and Recreation department for 35 years. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of University of New Hampshire.
Robert was a member of the National Eagle Scout Association, a member of the Harley Owners Group and a member of the VFW in Concord. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife and friends, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie L. (Titus) Baldi of Webster; three sons Robert Baldi and his wife Danielle of Omaha, Nebraska; Joshua Piroso of Dunbarton and Nathan Piroso of Concord; and five grandchildren, Ava, Cassidy, Sawyer, Gavin and Hannah.
He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Baldi.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 5pm-8pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street Concord.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 12 Noon the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
