Patricia graduated from West Rutland High School in Vermont and after high school continued some business education. Later in life she went to work for the states of New Hampshire and then Maine’s Health and Human Services as a Child Support Enforcement agent.
Patricia loved gardening, nature, animals and all of wildlife. She cared for and loved her cats and guinea pigs as if they were royalty. Patricia was an avid fan of watching golf (especially when Tiger Woods played!) She also loved the coast of Maine, reading and journaling. She was very tech-savvy and enjoyed building and fixing personal computers. Patricia always cherished spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was a quick visit or spending school vacation weeks with her. Recently, visits with her great grandchildren always brought a sparkle to her eye.
Patricia is survived by her children, Robert Jepson and wife Sandy of Swanzey, NH; Kathryn Mavity and husband Mike of Concord, NH; her sister Deborah Worthington and husband Bob of Punta Gorda, FL; her brother Dennis Amsden and wife Kathy of Greer, SC; her sister-in-law Barbara Amsden of Wallingford, VT, her grandchildren Jennifer Lynn, Janessa Reeves, Jakob Mavity, Abigail Jepson and Noah Jepson; and two great-grandchildren Charlotte Pelissier and Chase Lafleur.
She is predeceased by her parents James and Catherine (Orticari) Amsden; her husband Conrad Christian Born; and her brothers Robert Amsden and Terrance Amsden.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday June 28th at 11:00am at Joy Church, 55 Barnstead Rd, Pittsfield, NH with a catered luncheon to follow. Burial will take place at a later date at the Rye Central Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Bennett Funeral Home of Concord, NH.
