Melinda Conrad

Melinda was born in Portsmouth, NH to Theodore and Eileen (Flanagan) Papageorge.

Melinda graduated from Portsmouth High School class of 1965. She then went on to become part of the State of NH Business Enterprise Program for Services for the blind and visually impaired. She owned and operated several of her own businesses throughout her life.

She was an avid sports fan, always cheering on her Pats. She loved traveling with one of her many close friends, Rose Prescott. Her family was her whole life. They loved her as much as she loved them. She had a great sense of humor. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, giving person who touched so many people.

Melinda is survived by her children, daughter, Wendy (Conrad) Langone and son, Michael Conrad and his wife Leticia, grandsons, Nathan Langone and his wife, Katie and Richard George; granddaughters Cassie (Langone) Segedy and her husband, Nathan, Amanda (Conrad) Saunders and her husband, Harrison and Erica Conrad; great grandchildren, Michelle Saunders, Amara Langone and Lucas Segedy (on the way); brother, Tod Papageorge and his wife, Deborah, her sister, Nan Lamport. Lastly she is survived by her longtime significant other, Matthew Higgins as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation in her name can be made to Live & Let Live Farm in Chichester, NH.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:30am at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord, NH 03301.
