Jean Reid Stevenson

Jean Stevenson, 79, of Concord, NH passed on May 12, 2017, after a happy & wonderful life. She was born in Burlington, Vermont in 1937, the daughter of Earl & Margaret Reid. Jean graduated from Concord High School in 1955 & The Laconia School of Nursing in 1958.

She loved her children most of all but enjoyed life, golf, zentangle, working out & the luxury of retirement.

She worked as a scrub nurse & office nurse for Dr. Berger Carlson for many years and later, as a staff nurse in the operating room at Concord Hospital.

She was predeceased by her precious daughter, Jennifer Sampson of Bow, NH & Fountain Hills, Arizona in 2011; her loving parents; her beloved brother, Les Reid formerly of Kendall

Park, NJ and her ex-husband, Robert L. Stevenson of Northfield.

Members of her family include her beloved children,- a son, Michael Stevenson & his wife, Lori of Greensboro, North Carolina; a daughter, Amy Richter & her husband, Paul of Windham, NH; her beloved companion of 28 years, Hal Workman of Concord, NH; Son-in-Law, Douglas Sampson & his wife, Dedi of Fountain Hills, Arizona; her sister & lifetime best friend, Andrea Reid of Concord, NH; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Reid of Newcastle, Maine & Agnes Stevenson, of Epsom, NH.

Per Jean's request there will be no calling hours or funeral. She will be laid to rest at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, NH.
