Elizabeth P. Stefanski

Montville, CT – Elizabeth P. Stefanski, 88, of 1190 Route 163,Oakdale, CT passed away at Pleasant View Center Nursing Home in Concord, NH on October 13, 2013. She was born May 27, 1925 in New London, CT, daughter of the late Albert and Victoria (Wickowski) Taylor. Her husband, Daniel Stefanski of Montville predeceased her in 1994. Her daughter, Beverly Armstrong, predeceased her on September 10, 2013. She was predeceased by her three brothers and sister, Albert Taylor, Jr., George Taylor, Edward Taylor and Marge Yaworski.

She is survived by her son, Daniel G. Stefanski, and his wife Kitty and by her 6 grandchildren (and 4 great grandchildren), Daniel Johnson and wife Missy and two sons Dallas and Dakota of Weare, NH; Sheri Hoard and husband Lonnie and son Joshua of Colchester, CT; Kerry Schleyer and her husband David and daughter Emma of Manchester, NH; Kristy Vose and husband Paul of Goffstown, NH; Kaitlyn Stefanski of Dover, NH; and Daniel J. Stefanski of Weare, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stefanski was retired, having worked as a secretary for National Trucking, Montville High School and for the Teamsters Union Local 493. Mrs. Stefanski was a member of Our Lady of Lakes Church in Oakdale. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, boating, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, making porcelain dolls, oil painting and country western line dancing. Mrs. Stefanski was a resident of Montville, CT for 82 years until she moved to Concord, NH in 2008.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Route 32, Uncasville, with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Raymond Hill Cemetery, Oakdale, CT following the service.
