Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of John and Bernice (Silver) MacEachran.
Dorothy was a member of Destiny Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, silk ribbon flowers and sewing.
Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband George. They spent most of their lives together traveling all over the U.S. and to other countries and islands.
Survivors include her husband George Monticone of Concord; her two sons Stephen Monticone and his wife Lyn of Concord, Robert Monticone and his wife Norma of Humble, Texas; two daughters Beverly Paquin of Hudson and Janet Irwin also of Hudson; seventeen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and nineteen great great grandchildren; as well as her caregiver Mary Acevedo.
She was predeceased by two sons, George Monticone and Freeman Rice; and by her brother Freeman MacEachran.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 5pm-7pm at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Destiny Christian Church, 339 Mountain Road, Concord, NH 03301.
