David A. Kempf was born in Easton, Massachusetts on November 8, 1953, to Joseph and Mildred Kempf. In 1977, he met and married Danielle Boutilier and resided in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, until moving to Arizona in 2001, which they resided in Apache Junction in the Phoenix area.
Dave proudly served his country in the Air Force as a crew chief on fighters for NORAD in upstate NY. He was a long-time member of both the VFW and American Legion, serving the American Legion Post 27 in several offices, including Post Commander.
Dave is survived by his wife of 47 years, Danielle Boutilier, and his brothers and their wives, Dana and Lori, and Peter and Lynn Kempf, his late brother Joey and family, as well as his sister Joyce Leatherman, and many nieces and nephews across the country.
Dave was extremely proud to have served his country. His burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans’ Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
Calling hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home in Concord, on Thursday November 14 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm, followed by burial the same day at 2:00pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
