Bill Hays, 70, of Columbus passed away on May 3, 2018. Born in Columbus to William and Dorothy Hays. Bill grew up on the west side and attended West High School. He always had a need for speed, in his younger years Bill could be found drag racing, riding motorcycles and fast cars or skydiving. Preceded in death by his parents. Lovingly survived by his lifelong companion, Sarah Hilton; sisters, Linda Hays(Vicki Michaelis) and Suzanne Knight; niece, Theresa Cramer; nephew, Rob (Kim) Cramer, 4 great nieces, 3 great nephews and 2 great- great nephews, also by cousins and friends. A special thank you goes out to the Mount Carmel Palliative Care unit. The family has chosen to have a private inurnment at a later date.
