My heart goes out to your family.  I just learned about this last week on 10/23. I kept my horse at her barn all the years I lived in Ohio and cherish many memories of our friendship as she mentored me on equestrian ways.  Love, Linda Massey, Red Bay, Alabama

I was saddened to see Sue's name in the Miami University magazine which just arrived.  Although we had no contact after college, she is someone I will never forget.  In my mind she is ageless, looking just the same as she did in the sorority photo in the video.  I remember her great enthusiasm and the special bond that she and Joan shared.  She will never be forgotten.

A favorite memory of mine of Sue on her beloved Dymie at Mendon Ponds park I believe around the Fall of 1998.

I just learned of Sue's passing.. She was a dear friend . We shared a great many trail rides when she lived in NY . I have Sue to thank for  helping me find the horse that changed my life. I will miss you Sue.. Sorry we had not been  been in touch for awhile..

I just learned of Sue's passing. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed. Sue was  bright, warm and fun to be with. She and I served on the Pretrial Board for many years together and she could always be counted on to say just the right thing at the right time. 
The PreTrial world has lost one of its most special advocates.

Sue !!!  I miss you horribly. I miss our daily conversations about work and life. Many say you were a private person and you were. However, I had the pleasure of watching you unfold and blossom within these last few years. You were an outstanding person and dedicated leader. The other day I found myself saying, "Let me talk with Sue about that". Then, I cried some more because I can't do that anymore. I miss you laughing so hard at my jokes that you had to hold your stomach and hit the desk. :) The real "funny" is when I would ask certain staff if they'd seen my Mom (when I was looking for you) and they'd point me in the direction they last saw you. I appreciated you greatly and I'm glad I told you that all the time. I'm sad that we didn't get to go riding, but I will think of you while riding this spring. Thank you for helping me grow.

Sue and I were both fans of wolves, she told us a story of a time where she spent a week at a special farm with wolf hybrids. She was always focused and driven with a witty sense of satirical humor. She was as reliable and upright an individual as I have ever had the honor of knowing. I know she is at home right now enjoying everything God has made for her. She will be missed but never forgotten. I still think of her when I am at work , I can still see her staring me down from the brim of her glasses. She was our little napoleon, fearless and cunning.

You have my sympathy and prayers.  Sue and I would discuss our trips to Boothe Bay Harbor, Maine and Cape Cod and our love for seafood.  She was always interested in my case load because I would usually have an interesting story about one of my probationers ( I am a mental health officeri).  I will miss talking with her.  May she rest in peace.

Sue and I had conversations about our love for animals especially horses. She had such love and compassion for our four legged creatures.
