Sarah Ann Schmidt

Sarah Ann (Mathews) Schmidt, age 46, has gone to be with her Lord in Heaven on Thursday, February 11, 2016. She was born, grew up, and married here in Columbus, Ohio. At age 26, she and her husband moved to North Carolina for 5 years and then have spent the last 15 years in the Seattle area, where their son entered their lives. They moved back to Columbus to be with family last October after Sarah was diagnosed with cancer. Sarah follows her Mother Ann, her aunt Eloise, and her aunt Virginia to Heaven. She leaves behind her husband, Tom; son Brandon; father, Edward; brother, Paul; sisters, Lynne and Carol. Sarah will be missed dearly for her love and caring of family, friends, and clients. We miss you Sarah, and please know that you will live forever in our hearts. You gave us your love, and for that we will be eternally grateful. A celebration of life will be held 1 PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Maize Manor United Methodist Church with greeting from 12 PM until the time of service. Burial will be a private family service at Kingwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Adoptions, 12316 134th Ct NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
