Ruth M Adams

Ruth Marie Adams, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Ruth was born on April 23, 1941 in Willow Wood, Ohio to Delmas and Goldie Thompson. She loved nature in which she could watch birds, feeding the squirrels and gardening. When she was able, she loved to travel and being with family. Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carol Jessie, Jeannie Taylor, Ricky, Charles, Judy and Linda Thompson; grandsons, Steven and Shane Adams. Survived by her children, Robert Massie, Gary (Wanda) Massie, Teresa (Lou) Newsome, Tracy Adams and Stacy (Everett) Horn; grandchildren, Cierra Massie, Travis Dowden, Kacie (EJ) Davis, Kara (Zach) Noah, Robert Bowens, Brandon Adams and Kaitlyn Thompson, Mariah Horn and Skyler Horn; great grandchildren Tiara Adams, Ricki Maynard, Rachel Adams, Jacob Adams, Ayden Davis, Kenzley Keeton and Shayla Adams; brother, Joe (Lynda) Thompson; sister, Patty Beasley; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4-7 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Interment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
