Ron was born, and lived his life, in Columbus. He graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1966. He then enlisted in the Navy and served until his honorable discharge in 1969. Returning to Columbus he worked at General Electric for 32 years and retired in 2003.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack Lee & Betty June Frazee. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Cindy Frazee, his sons Andrew and Aaron Frazee, grandchildren Kyra, Alexandra, and Nora, siblings Dan (Brenda) Cash, Michael "Mic" (Lucy) Frazee, Melinda "Mindy" Brockman, a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and his beloved feline friends Harley and Skyler.
Words are an imperfect way of capturing the full life that Ron lived. He was an avid golfer on his Tuesday league, and spent hours on the green with the Trustee of The Fraternal Order of Eagles - his father Jack. Ron loved to travel with his wife and had an affinity for cooking - he loved making, and eating, great food. He rooted for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns every season, and played cards with "the guys" every Friday. He was proud of his Navy service, passionate about current affairs, and had a curiosity for knowledge that earned him the moniker "Mr. Wizard" from some of his family.
Private services have been entrusted to Advantage by Schoedinger North. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local animal shelter or veterans organization of choice are preferred. The family will host a celebration of Ron's life in 2025.
