A sympathy card was purchased for the family of Richard C. "Dick" Sensenbrenner.

We were so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing.  We first met all of you in Florida in 1969 and became close friends.  We have so many happy memories of your Mom and Dad.  Lynn, Kathleen & Jackie became instant friends with all of you and always felt close to all of you.  We are sorry that we can't be there with you but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I WENT TO WEST HIGH WITH DICK AND SANDY.  I THOUGHT DICK WAS THE BEST LOOKING GUY AT SCHOOL --MY MOTHER SPENT $55.00 FOR MY PROM DRESS AT LAZARUS AND SHE SAID NO ONE WOULD HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DRESS LIKE THAT.
WELL SANDY WORE THE SAME DRESS.REMEMBER WE ARE TALKING ABOUT '54, A VERY LONG AGO.  HE WAS SUCH A NICE PERSON, WE ARE SNOW BIRDS IN FLORIDA FOR WINTER SO I WON'T BE ABLE TO VISIT.HAPPY TRAILS TILL WE MEET AGAIN. PEGGY (CRAIG) FLEISCHER,SCHWARTZ.

We were very saddened to hear of Dick's passing.  He has been a GREAT family friend for years.  We would call each other out of the blue and talk about everything from past family vacations in Florida, how we he missed everyone that had passed before him and just about anything.  I could always count on Dick for good advice for everything.  He always said that if I messed up that he would be out to take care of me one way or another.  I will miss the conversations that we had over the years, they meant so much.
He will be greatly missed by not only his family, but by all of the people that he touched over the years.  

We extend our greatest sympathy to his family and friends, they can rest assured that he is in Heaven.

Nature's Twig Arrangement was purchased for the family of Richard C. "Dick" Sensenbrenner.

I first met Dick several years ago here in Florida when I was invited to play in a foursome with him and two other duffers like me.  After that first round of golf, we played together often.  Now, I'm from Michigan and Dick, of course, was a Buckeye to the core.  We would rib each other endlessly!  As a result, we became very good friends.  (Hard to believe, but true!)  I shall miss my Buckeye friend.

Dick was a high school friend that was always a gentlemen and good friend.  His 
wife Sandy was a great friend.  I enjoyed their 50th Anniversary party.  Seen Dick
at our 55th glass reunion. He sent a Christmas card every year.  He will be
greatly missed and someday we will see each other again in heaven!

Dick was a friend of mine for 70 years, and I'll always remember our early days running around the old Hoge Memorial Church on Eureka Avenue, and occassionaly "hooking" Sunday School classes, and instead waiting out the time sitting in his dad's car.  Also, our days playing on the basketball teams at the John Burroughs School on Sullivant Avenue, and watching TV on the early round tube at his parent's home on Guernsey Avenue.  Dick was a wonderful person, and I know he will be sorely missed by his family, and all who knew him.

The world won't seem the same without Dick in it.  We grew up in Westgate, right down the street from his family when his Father was Mayor of Columbus.  I last saw Dick at our 55th West High School Reunion and as usual, being tall people, we were in the next to the last row and the last row in every picture taken at reunions I attended.  Sandy used to laugh at that.  My sister and I used to make fudge and he was quite a fan while we lived in Westgate and at the last reunion, we recalled this with joy.  We even said we would make some of that famous fudge and send it to him.  Another thing I procrastinated about and never got done.  

I extend my deepest sympathy to his family and friends and know that Dick will always be remember for a life well lived.

Dick and Sandy were a very special couple, always thoughtful of other's needs and concerns, and delightful to be around whether it be for fun, food or Buckeye sports. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the Family and the numerous friends he cared so much for throughout his life.

Grace and Peace

As I read through the tribute about Dick, I was so touched by his life and how much he helped people and those in the community. His life reminded me of how Jesus spent much of his life doing the same.  As an elder in his church I am sure Dick often prayed the Lord's Prayer found in Matthew 6: 9, 10 where it says "Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place as in heaven, also upon earth.  I know we all look forward to when God's will be done here on earth. Please take comfort in the future promise he has given us where he tells us "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will out cry nor pain be anymore for the former things have passed away. -Revelation 21:3,4.

Dick was a special friend and neighbor at Country Creek. He always was ready  to give a helping hand  or just chat. I will miss seeing him do his laps at the pool. our thought and prayers are with the family and Jan.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My favorite memory of your dad is the drive out to Tuller's Fruit farm (back when we thought it was "out in the country") after a sleepover at your house. We got the best donuts there!! My prayers are with you all.
