Richard Dale Krumm

Richard D. Krumm, age 95, went to be with his Lord on November 27, 2015. He was born May 2, 1920 in Columbus, OH to the late Robert F. and Grace (Mathews) Krumm; also preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Martha (Fenstermacher) Krumm; grandson, Nicholas Krumm and brothers, Byron and Eugene Krumm. Richard was a Captain in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a life-long member of Peace Lutheran Church. He served as principal at Hanover Local Schools and then taught Industrial Arts for many years at Columbus Central High School as well as Walnut Ridge High School He is survived by three daughters, Claudia (Ralph) Cassady, Melanie Prechel and Julianne (Keith) Palermini; son Matthew (Linda) Krumm; grandchildren Mindy (Jeff) Clark, Amy (Charlie) Wagner, Elaina Palermini, Mario (Courtney) Palermini, Robert and Daniel Krumm; great-grandchildren Michael Braumiller, Isabella McGinnis, Julianna Palermini and Benjamin Wagner. A Memorial Service celebrating and giving thanks for Richard's life will be held at 1pm Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 with a reception to follow; Pastor Kai Nilsen, officiating.
