Penny "Penny Jo" Joanne Roberds

Penny Joanne Roberds, age 59, of Ashville, died unexpectedly following a short illness on March 27, 2022 in Columbus. She was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on May 10, 1962. Penny was an administrative assistant with Blackco Splicing for many years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Denny Roberds; daughters, Crystal Cook and Jessica (Patrick) Kaylor; stepson, Shaun Walsh; grandchildren, Kayla, Madison, Billy, Arianna, Adam, Heaven, Lily, Fraya, Griffin, Willow and Lillyn; mother and stepfather, Judy and Frank Upp; father, Harold H. Henthorn; sisters and brother-in-law, Connie and Scott Ross and Marlita Miller; brothers, Stan and Craig Miller; nieces, Courtney (Janio) Garcia and Shelby Ross; other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Penny Jo was preceded in death by her son, Craiton Cook; her maternal grandparents, Dwight and Jeanne Bevington; aunt, Peggy Woolison and uncles, Dan Bevington and Ernie Bevington. She loved her family especially her beloved grandchildren. She had a sweet and loving disposition and always had a smile on her face. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Heritage Baptist Church, 470 Groveport Pike, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. The family has requested that everyone wear purple clothing or something violet in honor of Penny Jo’s favorite color. Interment at a later date in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
