Paul Kemp Jr. (Mudbone), age 85, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 15, 2021. Paul was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 1, 1935 to Paul Sr. and Mattie Kemp. He was known in the Linden community for his carryout store, Mudbone's Corner Confectionary. Years of membership in the Rooster Channel Jumpers CB Radio Club. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dominos and spending time with his family and friends. Mudbone was employed by the City of Columbus for several years and most recently he was employed by Above and Beyond Contractors LLC. Proceeded in death by his parents, Paul Sr and Mattie; Sisters, Betty Kemp and Pauline Finister. Survived by his brother, Calvin Kemp (CA); sisters, Catherine Woodard and McKinney; Ex-wife and friend, Fay Baker; children Robert (Thelma) Kemp (TX), Paul (Tyna) Kemp, III (TX), Veronica (Keddrick) Reese, Constance Bonds, Paula (Lamonte) Jones; Granddaughter Shaunita (Raheem) Farmer; and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
