Patricia Ann Gramelt, 92, was born in Columbus on February 14, 1932 and entered eternal peace on September 28, 2024 surrounded by family. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer (Bob) Siddall, grandsons, Ryan (Mary) Hoobler and Brady (Mackenzie) Siddall, and three much loved great-grandchildren, with another due in March, 2025. Survivors include Anna Gramelt-Rashid, Charles Gramelt and many nieces and nephews. Pat is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, John, son Jeffrey, her parents and three siblings. Pat will be remembered for her dedication to her beloved German Village. She was recognized as a Honorary Charter Member, attending the first meeting of discussions on the formation of German Village. She served in the Visitors Center for many years welcoming guests to the Village. Pat enjoyed her participation in the German Village Garten Club where along with her fellow members, she dead-headed plants in the Huntington Gardens. She was extremely proud of her involvement with the annual Haus and Garten Tour, serving as a hostess over 50 years. She was delighted to bake apple dumplings each year for the annual Garten Club Plant and Bake Sale. As a 70 year member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, she along with other members, enjoyed decorating the sanctuary for the Christmas Holidays. During St. Paul’s annual Vacation Bible School she helped the children understand the daily Bible lesson through crafts. Above all, Pat was an advocate for individuals with disabilities. In this time of loss, we remember Pat for her warmth, kindness and unwavering love for her Heavenly Father, family and community. Calling hours will be at Schoedinger State Street Midtown, 229 E. State Street, on October 6, 2024 from 1-4 pm. Funeral service will be held on October 7, 2024 at 10 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 322 East Stewart Avenue, Columbus with Pastor Ross Gottschalk officiating. There will be visitation one hour before the funeral service. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Pat’s memory.
