Michael Paul Scott, age 61, passed away Sunday May 16, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 16, 1949 to the late Gilbert and Phyllis (Routte) Scott. Michael served in the USMC during the Vietnam Era. He was employed formerly by Roadway and by Kuno’s Gulf Station, and more recently by Sam’s Club. He found enjoyment in fishing, in his friends, and in his family – especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Scott; grandson, David Baier Jr.; father- and mother-in-law, Clarence and Violet Compton. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Anita (Compton) Scott; daughter, Robin (David) Baier; son, Eric (Lisa) Scott; grandchildren, Dalton, Colby, Violet, and Jacob; sisters, Betty (Charles) Starkey and Sandra Holstein; sister-in-law, Cne Sheridan; brother-in-law, Glenn (Teri) Compton; other family and friends including good friends, Richard Holstein, Jim Kuno, and Doug Murray. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 20 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Graveside service and interment 11 a.m. Friday, May 21 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev.
