He served with the United States Navy from 1958 to 1964,
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife “of sixty five years” Sally; his children Brett, Jeff and Karen; daughter's-in-law Kathy and Sue; son-in-law Mike; grandchildren Scott, Billy, Evan, Audrey and Kiersten.
He retired after a long and distinguished career with Ohio Bell. He loved being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends listening to his favorite music and having a cigar. He enjoyed playing golf any chance he could. If something needed to be repaired, he was the guy to call.
He was always a friend, as a matter of fact, Tom did not know a stranger. He was straight forward, honest and could be ornery, funny and mischievous. Always a very good friend to all of us who were lucky enough to have him in our life, even to those who might of only had a few minutes with him.
Tom’s life will be remembered and celebrated on Friday, May 3rd at 2:00 PM at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, where friends will be received from 1:00-2:00 PM. Military Honors will open our services at 2PM. A loving cremation has been entrusted to the funeral home.
