She was born on June 11, 1950, in Scioto County, Ohio, to the late Clyde Smith and Darlene (Pyle) Hunt. Known as Mamaw, Kathy was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and soon-to-be Great Grandmother. Kathy leaves behind a cherished legacy through her seven grandchildren: Chris (Kylea) Cook, Carena Cook, Cody, Trey, and Hayley Cook, Donny and Kyle Casey. She also leaves behind a sister, Vikki (Larry) Smith of Wheelersburg, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cook, and beloved mother, Darlene Hunt, and stepfather, Don Hunt.

Kathy was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild, Hudson. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt.
