I’ll never forget the first time I met Julia when she was outside on her front porch and we offered to help her with her driveway when the snow got bad she always appreciated that. She also always enjoyed the girls stopping by. They also help pick up the sugar gum balls in the front and backyard, as well as clean up some leaves from time to time. She always appreciated them with giving them a bag of candy. Julia and I often went to lunch because we celebrated the  same birthday - July 12th! She also adored my husband and he visited her a few times as well that meant a lot to her. I remember the few times I saw her before the end. She always cried when she brought up old memories of her husband- I held her hand and talked with her- she was loved, and I made sure she knew that she was loved by God.

          文玉姨媽千古! 上個世紀八十年代末有幸在北京見到過文玉姨媽和田意姨父，當時我還是20来歲的青年，年紀漸長在湖南老家陪母親時間增多，聽母親講敘家族歷史的機會也多了，我母親是文玉姨媽親表姐，大幾個月，小時後在上海、南京相伴成長。謝謝今天王晨表嫂發來追思會的鏈接，非常感慨文玉姨媽走過的不平凡的人生旅程，多姿多彩，幸福圓滿，也致意Norman表兄弟全家，節哀順變。

 I am deeply saddened by the passing of Julia, who I had the pleasure of knowing through Sister Sueng Choong. I remember first meeting her two or three years before the start of the pandemic and addressing her as Li Shi Mu, a term of respect for a teacher's wife.

One of my fondest memories of Julia was visiting her at her house and chatting with her. Despite being in her late 80s at the time, Julia was incredibly sharp, and her memory was impeccable. She would recall our previous conversations and even remember the details we discussed.

Julia was also a kind and welcoming person, and she took a genuine interest in my background. She was always eager to learn more about me and would ask me questions about my culture and upbringing. I will never forget how much she enjoyed the vegetarian Bao Zi I made for her.

Although I am saddened that we lost touch due to the pandemic, I will always cherish the memories of the time I spent with Julia. She was a graceful and intelligent lady who touched the lives of everyone she met. I offer my deepest condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I am deeply touched by the ceremony held today in honor of Julia. Hearing Norman and Ruth's eulogies made me feel as though I knew her even better. They spoke so beautifully about her life and her many accomplishments, which touched the lives of countless people.

I am sure Julia would have been content and proud knowing that her spirit is with her family and loved ones. She was a remarkable person who lived a life full of purpose and kindness. Her legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew her, and in the lives she touched throughout her time with us.

I always remember the time spent with aunt Julia. She is intelligent, loving, kind and has good sense of humour. Julia, You will be very much missed. May God blessings your soul and comfort your family. 

I know of your grace and love through your son Norm who is married to my beautiful cousin Ruth. My parents  had the opportunity to experience being with you at Ruth and Norm's wedding and spoke often of how you made them feel like family and welcomed them completely. You are loved and you will be missed. 

Julia was such a wonderful soul! I’ll miss her so much! I loved it when she laughed, at the little things! I had the honor of helping her at Sunrise AL. I will miss her and always have great memories of her! God Bless and Rest in Peace🙏🏼❤️ Love to Julia and her family.
